Sentimental Path turns text conversations, messages and photos into a downloadable digital book you can keep. The book is a PDF laid out at 6 × 9 inches: a title page personalized with your title, an optional dedication, an introduction, chapters, the messages in order with names and dates, your photos shown large, and a final page. It is digital only; we do not print or ship anything.

It is made for the conversations that mattered: a parent, a partner, a sibling, a friend, a group chat, a loved one who is gone.

No. There is no login, no password and no profile. You open the builder, make your book, pay for it, and download it. That is the whole process.

A conversation export from your messaging app, or text you can paste or type, and any photos you want in the book. The export guide walks through each app step by step.

Right now the builder reads:

• WhatsApp “Export chat” files (.txt or .zip, with photos)
• Facebook Messenger and Instagram JSON data downloads (message_1.json, with photos)
• Android “SMS Backup & Restore” XML files (texts and MMS photos)
• CSV exports, for example from iMessage export tools: any CSV with date, sender and message columns
• Plain text conversations (“Name: message” lines, or pasted text)
• Photos as JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF (HEIC works in Safari)

You can also type a conversation in by hand.

They are not placed in the book. The builder skips them and tells you how many were skipped, so you know what is missing. Photos are included.

iPhone does not have a built-in export for iMessage. You will need a Mac or PC export tool such as iMazing or AnyTrans that produces a CSV or TXT file, then import that file. See the export guide.

Yes. You can import several exports and organize them by person, date range, event or chapter. Long or combined conversations may need more than one volume.

$19.99 per finished volume, paid once. There is no subscription and no membership. Each additional volume is another $19.99. See pricing.

A volume is one finished book. One volume holds up to 10,000 messages, 250 photos, 500 MB of imported material, or 500 finished pages, whichever is reached first. Longer conversations naturally become several volumes, like “Our Story — Volume 1” and “Volume 2”.

Always. The builder shows a live Book Size meter and tells you exactly how many volumes your selection needs before checkout, for example “Your selection will create 3 volumes. Price per volume: $19.99. Total: $59.97”. You are never charged more after checkout, even if our estimate turns out to be off; in that case we fit it anyway.

You choose. You can:

• purchase all the volumes
• trim the selection to fit one volume
• remove messages or photos
• choose a smaller date range
• split the book yourself by person, date range, event, chapter or theme, or let the builder number the volumes automatically
• buy only Volume 1 for now

Eight templates: Classic Keepsake, Modern Minimal, Photo Memory, Family Story, Love Letters, Legacy, Generations and Our Journey. You can use one as is, customize it (title, subtitle, names, dates, cover photo, colors, font pairing, background), or upload your own photo for a custom cover. You preview the cover before you buy. You pick one of four interior styles: Polished transcript, Traditional memory book, Conversational story, or Photo-and-message keepsake. Every style keeps the messages in order with names and dates, and places photos where they belong.

Sentimental Path is a downloadable digital book only; we do not print or ship physical books. If you’d like a paper copy for yourself, the PDF is laid out at 6 × 9 inches, a standard book size, so you can have it printed at home or through any print shop you choose.

No. Your conversations stay on your device. We never upload or store them. The entire book is built inside your browser, and the finished PDF is generated on your device and downloaded directly; there is no cloud archive and no analytics on your content. The only thing that reaches our server is purchase metadata: the number of volumes, and the transaction details from Stripe. Read the privacy policy.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We receive an order confirmation: the amount, the number of volumes, an order id, and the email address Stripe collects for your receipt. Nothing from the conversation itself.

Click “Delete my data from this device” in the builder at any time. We also prompt you to delete after you download, and the working copy is cleared automatically after 30 days of inactivity. Because nothing was uploaded, there is nothing to delete on our side.

Yes. Sexual content involving minors, illegal sexual content and exploitative or non-consensual sexual material are blocked and cannot be included. Because this is a family-safe product, explicit adult sexual imagery and highly explicit sexting are also excluded. Ordinary affection, family talk, medical discussions, relationship memories and other sensitive topics are not blocked. See the content safety page.

The check runs on your device, inside your browser, before the book is generated. Anything flagged is clearly identified with the reason; you remove it and continue. Rejected material is never sent to us. Automated checks are not perfect, so you also confirm that you have the right to use the content and that it follows the Terms.

It is generated on your device and downloaded to wherever your browser saves files. We do not keep a copy, so please save it somewhere safe and back it up. If the download is interrupted, you can generate it again from the working copy on your device as long as you have not deleted it.

Because Sentimental Path creates a customized digital product for immediate download, all purchases are final and non-refundable.

If a verified technical issue on our side prevents us from delivering your book and we are unable to resolve it, we may issue a refund at our discretion.

Not yet. Sentimental Path works in your web browser today, on a computer, tablet or phone. iOS and Android apps are planned, and they will follow the same rule: your conversations stay on your device.
